About us:

Nowra Group was concepted in November 1980, with the inaugural meeting being held in February 1981. Currently it has an active and enthusiastic group of 51

Our Group enjoys garden visits, propagation workshops, plant identification walks with the occasional trip away, and we participate at the Berry Garden Festival as well as at events at the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum Complex.

Our meeting night is the second Thursday of the month from February through to

November, we have interesting guest speakers on our meeting nights as well as plant table displays of seasonal plants and their flowers, and a lucky door prize.

Wirreecoo Garden:

This native plant garden was designed and planted by members of our Group.

The garden was destroyed by a major bush fire in 2001 and has since been

re-established.

The garden had been selected  for the ABC Open Garden Scheme.

The garden is located at Jervis Bay Maritime Museum Complex in Huskisson.
